IFHP (Interim Federal Health Program)

The IFHP is part of the Canadian government’s efforts to provide dental care services to refugee newcomers who have a UCI number (Unique Client Identifier issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, also known as the IRCC).

 

The program covers most dental procedures and, while it covers the bulk of costs associated with dental procedures, it does not cover dental cleanings or "elective" procedures.
